Our vision

 
To inspire creativity, curiosity, and a joy of learning that lasts a lifetime. With a deep connection to nature, Wildwood Learning hopes our children will help heal our planet and communities.
 

Current Programs

    Forest School

    A curiosity-based and emotionally supportive learning program for children. Students will spend most of their time immersed in nature, learning naturalist, survival and wilderness skills, and reading, writing, math, social studies, and science from the core competencies of the BC curriculum.

    Creative Writing

    Learn from world-famous Kallie George how to build a story through art, crafts and play. Each week will build on the other, starting with designing a key… and ending with a story.

    Painting & Drawing

    Through play and investigation, students will get a foundation in visual arts and develop their painting and drawing skills and techniques. They will discover a range of materials like charcoal, oil pastels, tempera and gouache paints and use them for imaginative projects inspired by great artists and creative processes.

Where we learn

Our home base is in Upper Robert’s Creek on a beautiful 5-acre property at the start of the Day Road Forest Trails. The indoor learning space is a large converted workshop fondly referred to as the Nature Nest.
